One size does not fit all so programs are tailored to meet the needs of each client. Here’s an example of Stefanie leading a cancer workshop at Donna Karan’s Urban Zen Center in New York City:
One on One
One-on-one with Stefanie is typically a three-phase program the goal being to prevent illness, manage health and restore wellness using personalized nutrition therapy and culinary guidance.
Stefanie works with doctors and dietitians at several private practices and wellness centers throughout the Hamptons, New York City and vicinity. She is happy to work directly with your practitioner to provide you with the most comprehensive wellness program. Tailored to meet your specific needs, one on one is suitable for adults, children and families.
Phase One: Initial Evaluation & Food Counseling
The consultation takes place in the comfort of your own home. In this two-hour session, Stefanie will address:
- goals and objectives
- health history
- food behavior
- culinary knowledge/capabilities
- kitchen set-up/equipment
- current food product choices
You will collaborate with Stefanie to create a program that meets your specific needs. Shortly after meeting, Stefanie will furnish you with a comprehensive e-mail follow-up that will outline your Culinary Rx (plan of action).
Phase Two: Shopping Education
Over 15,000 new food products are introduced per year. In addition, the media offers an abundance of conflicting information about what is healthy and what is not. Thus, it is becoming increasingly difficult to navigate your way through the maze of food and food products in the grocery store. Stefanie will lead a private 90-minute tour of a local natural foods market to address your personal questions and concerns and discuss tips for being a more conscious consumer.
Phase Three: Hands-On Cooking Instruction
Based on the initial evaluation, Stefanie will create a Program Menu with recipes tailored specifically to meet your dietary needs. You will learn to cook, through hands-on instruction, in your home.
Additional
Stefanie creates menus and other food lifestyle tools to make this transition as seamless as possible. She also can initiate and facilitate the hiring of a private chef if suitable to your needs.
